John Cameron, AIA+LEED AP

John is primarily responsible for the management of projects from initial client contact through construction. He also creates and develops appropriate architectural designs and conceptual ideas in collaboration with the Connolly Team. He studiously works with the Client to incorporate environmentally responsible designs that respect and compliment the financial and operational needs of the Client. He regularly pursues continuing education about emerging and proven technologies to ensure Connolly’s projects reflect the latest developments in design approach, material application and construction technology.

Since joining Connolly in 2004, John has managed or consulted on more than 15 animal care projects in Texas and around the country. He is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Windows XP, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketch Up, Flamingo, Form Z and Photoshop.

John received his B.A. in Architecture from Louisiana Tech University and is a US Armed Forces Veteran, including combat tours in Afghanistan and Kosovo. He is an active member of the AIA and the US Green Building Council. He resides in Austin, TX.
